Refund policy

At The Whale Vault, we want you to be confident in your purchase. This policy outlines our returns and refunds process in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind Returns

We accept change of mind returns under the following conditions:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition, including all original packaging
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • No restocking fees apply

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind:

  • Any products listed as a final sale item in the item description.

Please ensure you review product descriptions carefully before purchasing from this collection.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or used trading card booster packs or booster boxes
  • Items that have been damaged after delivery due to misuse or mishandling
  • Products returned outside the 14-day return window

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change of mind returns are not required under Australian Consumer Law but are offered at our discretion under the conditions outlined above.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged in transit
  • Incorrect
  • Faulty upon arrival

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, including photos of the item and packaging, so we can assess and resolve the issue promptly.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after the returned item is received and inspected

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law
